Hello!
Welcome to the twac kitchen page! This is where info about the TWAC kitchen will be posted
1 The common twac kitchen is vegan!! All meals served by the twac kitchen will be vegan. If you need to bring food that is not vegan please do so and be prepared to facilitate you own kitchen space. In past years folks have brought their own pans, built their own fires or used a personal stoves to cook non-vegan food.
2 we will be providing breakfast and dinner and some snacks. There might be lunch food depending on how many donations we get
3 please bring your own dishes (plate, bowl, spoon whatever you want to bring to help you eat and drink)
4 during camp all the cooking (and cleaning) is done by organizers and camp participants alike! we are looking forward to hearing all great food inspiration and magic you will bring to the kitchen!
5TWAC organizers are reaching out to local farms for in-season produce. We are reaching out to the community to help us gather all the other food staples necessary for a well fed and happy camp. Items we need are listed bellow
Building community is one of the most important parts of TWAC and lots of connections are built during a good nourishing meal. Food is what nourishes us and allows us to be more present for each other, voice our passion loudly, and think more clearly about how to better strengthen and guide our movements! We will be better able to keep the movement going when our bellies are full and our spirits are high.
See you all soon!
